Location

Kasteel Steps Villa is located in Clifton, an exclusive coastal residential area in Cape Town. Clifton’s Fourth Beach attained the Blue Flag award in recognition of its high environmental, safety and tourist standards. All Clifton’s four beaches are safe, although the water is not for the fainthearted, generally around 12-15°C (54-59°F).

First Beach is the more peaceful of Clifton’s beaches, with plenty of space to kick a soccer ball or throw a frisbee. Second Beachgoers are more modern and eclectic, and there’s still some nice space to play rugby or volleyball. Third Beach is family-friendly, with a 1756 shipwreck hidden under about 7 metres of water just offshore. Fourth Beach is the most popular beach, with the best facilities for families and others alike. It features public toilets, change rooms, places to buy drinks and snacks, and umbrellas and deck chairs to rent. There’s a beach for everyone in Clifton!

Right next door to Clifton is Camps Bay with its trendy restaurants and cocktail bars, and only 15 minutes up the road is the Cape Town CBD. Truly a great spot for any holiday makers to Cape Town!
